1. Teenage Zombies (1959) [73 minutes]
This movie suffers from horrible pacing, which makes for a boring viewing experience. Although released in 1959, it looks like it was made in 1950. What budget?

2. Cat-Women of the Moon (1953) [64 minutes]
Similar issue to "Teenage Zombies" in terms of horrible pacing. Points for endearing camp and cheesy set design reminiscent of Ed Wood films.

3. The Screaming Skull (1958) [68 minutes]
This movie is just a mess from start to finish. Convoluted plot with paranormal activities that are horribly inconsistent.

4. Robot Monster (1953) [66 minutes]
60 year old spoiler alert: it was all just a dream... I think. This flick was a lot darker than I expected, but I kind of enjoyed it.

5. The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms (1953) [80 minutes]
I wanted to like this (mainly because Ray Harryhausen), but recycled stock footage and lack of closure soured the experience.

6. Forbidden Planet (1956) [98 minutes]
By far the most annoying score and sound effects so far. Otherwise, marginally tolerable film. Oh, and a pre-funny man Leslie Neilson. And Robby the robot. And 26 year old Anne Francis.

7. It Came from Outer Space (1953) [81 minutes]
Kind of reminded me of "The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms", but with a feel good ending. And aliens.

02

8. The Giant Claw (1957) [75 minutes]
Cheap models and giant alien bird puppet, but surprisingly not a boring film.

9. Invisible Invaders (1959) [67 minutes]
If "The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms" and "It Came from Outer Space" had a baby, this would be the offspring. Yet another movie where no one believes the 'hero' until its (almost) too late. I like the premise in this one, though.

10. Invasion of the Saucer Men (1957) [69 minutes]
This movie doesn't know if it wants to be a serious thriller or a comedy, resulting in a real disjointed narrative. Such a waste of a great title.

11. Attack of the 50 Foot Woman (1958) [65 minutes]
Awful. Just awful.

12. Rocketship X-M (1950) [78 minutes]
Slow and stupid doesn't win this race.

13. When Worlds Collide (1951) [83 minutes]
A touching, human story... no UFOs, aliens, or ghosts. Big budget flick by Paramount, and only the 2nd movie in color so far.

14. Tobor the Great (1954) [77 minutes]
Completely harmless (and completely horrible), the story of a robot with PTSD. No, seriously. Nuff said.

15. The Monster That Challenged the World (1957) [84 minutes]
The Kraken? Krakens? Kraki? Really just prehistoric giant radioactive deep sea snails.

16. The Brain from Planet Arous (1957) [71 minutes]
Bad alien brain vs. good alien brain, with the fate of humanity hanging in the balance. Most appropriate quote: "Every silver lining has a dark cloud."

17. Unknown World (1951) [74 minutes]
Another human story, but this one should rebrand as a sleep aid.

01
02

18. The Land Unknown (1957) [78 minutes]
Journey to a prehistoric pocket miles below the south pole, inhabited by cheap puppets and a man in a horrible (but blinking) T-Rex costume.

02

19. Invaders from Mars (1953) [71 minutes]
It was all just a dream... again... I think. It was difficult to tell through all the stock and recycled footage.

20. It Conquered The World (1956) [98 minutes]
It’s horrible (and racist), and I expected less from Roger Corman.

21. Killers from Space (1954) [71 minutes]
Aliens, giant insects and lizards, the very definition of 'b-movie'. A horrible b-movie. Abusive use of stock footage.

22. Giant from the Unknown (1958) [79 minutes]
Full of "isms" (racism, sexism, stupid-ism), a supernatural thriller ... without the thrill.

01
02

23. The Hideous Sun Demon (1959) [62 minutes]
Featuring a female lead with eyes so dead, she came off as being blind. Mostly a reverse werewolf story, but with the most incompetent and illogical characters ever.

01
02

24. The Flying Saucer (1950) [75 minutes]
Starring a chain smoking, Mickey Rourke look-alike ...man, they really padded this sucker for time. Is it a Spy thriller? It sure isn't sci-fi. Ends on the biggest WTF? ever.

02

25. Teenagers from Outer Space (1959) [86 minutes]
I think it’s lazy when aliens look like humans. But the acting! AAAHAHHHHHH! THE ACTING!!!

01
02

26. Flight to Mars (1951) [71 minutes]
A higher budget movie, but a b-movie nonetheless. Again, Martians look just like humans. I feel like I've seen this movie before, and I didn't like it then.

02

27. Indestructible Man (1956) [70 minutes]
Gumshoe/Frankenstein story starring Lon Chaney Jr. Essentially a remake of The Walking Dead (1936).

01
02

28. Night of the Blood Beast (1958) [62 minutes]
Astronaut crashes back to earth, pregnant with alien babies. Baby daddy has some serious issues.

01
02

29. The Mole People (1956) [77 minutes]
From Universal, this one starts with a lecture, and assures the viewer this is purely fiction. Sigh. Also, the love interest dies at the very end for absolutely no reason.

01
02

30. The Alligator People (1959) [74 minutes]
Features a plantation with black servants and Lon Chaney Jr.'s portrayal as a drunk, alligator-hating, rapist. In 1959.

02

31. Kronos (1957) [78 minutes]
Boring. Boring, boring, boring. Had to make 3 attempts to watch all the way through.
